Int. Workspaces was approach by Nayland College in May 2024, requesting support with the layout and product specification for their Library renovation project.
The team at Nayland College had visited other school libraries and put together a wish list for shelving and furniture items. This was supplied to us, alongside a building floor plan, which helped us to understand their vision for the space from the start.
Int. Workspaces submitted a proposal which included initial layout concepts, suitable shelving types for each book collection and fit for purpose furniture items which were all informed by their supplied documents.
Our proposal met their requirements and as a result, Int. Workspaces were approved as the contracted supplier for this full fit-out project. Over the space of the next 8 weeks, we engaged in an initial on-site meeting in Nelson and then continued our process of developing and refining the layout and product specifications over teams’ meetings.
As with all projects of this scale and nature, there is always a pre-determined budget which we had to work within. This budget guided us in the specification process, enabling us to propose appropriate products which met their requirements, resulting in Nayland College being able to achieve everything they wished for within budget.
In November 2024, our delivery and installation team were on site for four days. During this time, they assembled and placed a range of Intraspec Steel shelving units, custom modular seating, desking, tables, chairs, storage units and soft seating. The completion of this fit out was successful and within the determined time frame.
