Davmet
Davmet is a Hawke’s Bay based, specialist New Zealand lamb company, procuring and exporting premium chilled and frozen lamb cuts to food distributors and processors around the world.
In July 2025 Int. Workspaces were approached by RTA Studio who were responsible for the design and project management of the building renovation and office fitout on behalf of Davmet. Having previously worked together on the successful fitout of Foodeast, RTA set us the challenge of maintaining their proposed look and feel of the interior while managing the projects timeframes and budget.
The new space had to accommodate 10 + staff, large boardroom, open directors’ office, inviting waiting area, and a shared open planned kitchen.
As always, we had to be smart with our product finishes to ensure, value for money, suitability, and availability. We managed this by working with our New Zealand suppliers to provide a range of products which included custom Snug Modular Seating and Luca Tables for the communal kitchen, Talia Upholstered Chairs for the boardroom, a range of Fixed Height Desking, and a couple of Novex Steel Sliding Door Cabinets with Planters for the offices. We even assisted with sourcing suitable office plants through Anderson Plants who are based here in the Hawke’s Bay.
Our delivery and install team carried the work out over 2 separate install dates and continue to work closely with the team at Davmet as they fine tune their new working environment.
